Went to see the gynae again yesterday.
Hehe.. doctor says from the looks of it, she's not going to come anytime soon. Maybe closer to the expected due date i.e. 17 April. So yup, looks like I still have some way to go. :) For now, I will have to bear with the weight at my tummy (she is now 3kg I think)...bear with the tossing and turning at night.. haha :p and of course, the getting on and off bed, car etc.
On the brighter side, she (or rather God) is giving us more time to prepare and to get ready for her arrival. Honestly, I am not that ready I think, haven't packed my bag and I am STILL reading Babywise.
Our domestic helper will be arriving later today. Thank God she passed the entry test (which I heard can be rather difficult)..if not we will have to go about choosing another domestic helper and wait for her to come.. by then, baby would have arrived. :) Now, it's a lot about taking things a step at a time. Thankfully, I am feeling less anxious and trusting God more. He is in charge and He will always be my help :)
Two of our dear friends will be taking pictures of hubby and me (Ms Preggie) tomorrow. For fun! :) haha...Looking forward to it.

Soon soon soon :)
Updates from recent gynae visit:
Baby's weight: about 2.94 kg (Doc says she is of matured size, i.e. full grown :p)
On a side note, I now weigh 69kg!!
Circumference of head : About 33cm I think, diameter about 9plus cm
Circumference of waist: About 31 - 32cm if I am not wrong.
Saw the muscles of her legs...got a glimpse of her tiny face, slightly blocked by the placenta. :) I think she has hubby's nose.. hee hee. Doc mentioned again that she has a chubby face.. haha.. she gives that comment on almost every visit haha!
Now in my 36th week of pregnancy.. baby can come anytime from 37 to 42 weeks.
I am now trying to clear my work as quickly as possible, so as not to leave a trail of unfinished business before I go on maternity leave. Need to be SUPER efficient!
Wow.. my life's so gonna change completely soon...but it's nice.. :)
Been imagining what it would be like carrying her, nursing her, bathing her, discerning her cries, haha!
Do pray for me...been having some transitional anxieties I think. Think it's normal.. but also need to take it easy.

Hoping in the Lord for renewal of strength
Lots been happening around me lately...in the lives of people I know.
It's hard not to share in the pain of others. It's hard not to let what goes on in our dear friends' lives to affect us.
That's relationships. Lives intertwine.
There is a time to grieve...but there is also a time to let go and trust God. There is a time to be overwhelmed, but there is also a time for rest. There is a time for the heart to ache, but there is also a time for the heart to be comforted.
Isaiah 40:30-31
30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
31 but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

Baby updates :p
Went to see doc this morning. :p
Thank God someone gave up their appt today, so I could have mine shifted to a saturday. Hubby could then come along.
Doc says that baby is now in good position.. head is at the bottom.. hehe..getting ready to come out. We have been telling her to cooperate and turn downwards.. haha..seems like she's been listening.
Circumference of her head: 33.3cm
Circumference of her waist: 30.3cm
Doc says she now weights about 2.5kg...should hit 3kg thereabouts at the time of birth. She is an average sized baby. she has chubby cheeks.. haha
[My weight now: 67kg!!!! hahaha :p]
She's been moving a lot in the day. Sometimes, I do experience some pain when she stretches her legs and moves her hips. haha! But.. since it's once in a lifetime that she is in my tummy, I guess I should enjoy it and cherish the moment! haha.
It's getting tougher to sleep through the night.. cos I got to keep changing positions. But by and large, I am still sleeping quite well i think. Thank God she hardly moves at night.
OKie.. so I am now in my 34th week of pregnancy.
Hmm..my doc will be away from 5-15 April, so another doc might have to take over her when I am due..so coincidental. haha..let's see when God decides to let baby come out.
Ooopppss...just realised I am still not done with quite a bit of my preparations..!!

Baby shopping :)
Did quite a bit of shopping over the past few days.
Don't want to be too last minute and get myself all stressed out.
What have we bought:
1. Some diapers
2. Nappies
3. Baby top-to-toe wash
4. Liquid detergent for baby's clothes
5. Cotton wool
6. Nail clipper
7. Nursing bib
8. Nursing pads
9. Bottle brush
10. Infant clothes
11. Wet wipes
And the most important thing...the BABY COT! :)
Though the shopping was quite tiring, both hubby and I enjoyed ourselves. We aren't that sort who love to shop around. We like to go to a one-stop shop, grab everything and go within a few hours!
We are still missing:
1. Baby's swadling cloth
2. Good, soft towel for bathing the baby
Will be getting quite a bit of stuff from some friends:
1. Newborn diapers
2. Baby Bath
3. Steriliser for the milk bottles
4. Pram
5. Some milk bottles maybe
Hmm...what else..
Well, we thank God for all the blessings through friends :p We also thank God for our mothers who are resourceful and very very helpful!
And I must thank my dear mentor who gave me a super super super comprehensive list of things to buy! :) Some other mothers have also given me their input as to what I need to prepare, which brand I should get etc.
We are not done yet though...still have quite a bit to prepare at home, for the confinement lady etc.
Hopefully I will get everything done ASAP!
