God has a sense of humour

Spent some time journalling this morning.. lots of things started to make sense..

Good... haha

Then decided to go to the Christian cafe downstairs to get breakfast before starting work.. guess what..

It's funny..saw a quote, a verse and a poem which made a lot of sense in my situation.

The poem: Don't Quit
When things go wrong as they sometimes will.
When the road you’re trudging seems all up hill.
When funds are low and the debts are high.
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh.
When care is pressing you down a bit.
Rest, if you must, but don’t you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns.
As everyone of us sometimes learns.
And many a failure turns about.
When he might have won had he stuck it out:

The verse: Phillipians 3:13-14
"Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."

The quote: (Eh.. cannot remember the exact words, thought it would be weird if I borrowed pen and paper to copy it down haha)..In essence, it says,
"You can make life simple if that's your goal, but you must have courage to remove the thousand and one hindrances which make life complex."

Moral of the story: Keep patronising the christian cafe haha!! Alternatively, open a christian cafe???? haha
