This morning was difficult...
Negativity, doubts...Lies...
Our past experiences shape our thinking, values etc. and affects our emotions. Bad experiences from childhood etc, difficult circumstances in our homes...all these can be used by the evil one to shape the way we perceive our loving Heavenly Father.
In Christ, we can be healed, although it may take some time to overcome them. And I constantly remind myself that Jesus said that I will know the truth and the truth will set me free.
When the negativity, doubts, lies hit me... instead of giving in to them, I was reminded to learn to trust His heart.
Looking back into past experiences with God helps...thinking back on the intimate fellowship, the sweetness of His love and faithfulness experienced in the past gives me strength to hang on and trust that He truly loves me and it will never change.
Even though it's not all rosy at the moment, by His grace, I am given the strength to live through another day.
